Each competitor of the WRC Academy drives a Ford Fiesta R2. The car is prepared and supplied by M-Sport who also supervise an experienced team of mechanics at each event.
Based on the Ford Fiesta Sport model, the Fiesta R2 was M-Sport’s first global rally car. Having proved its mettle since its launch in 2009 in the JWRC and various national Fiesta SportTrophy series it is the ideal car for young drivers as they gain experience on stages around the world and make their WRC debut.
